Most stories start at the beginning, but this one starts at the end, “Montauk- The End”. Montauk is located on the most eastern tip of Long Island, New York, USA, about 110 miles from New York City. If you went further east you would be in the Atlantic Ocean, next stop, the beaches of Europe. With 11 miles of sandy beaches, a bounty for fisherman and the Lighthouse, Montauk is most known as a summer beach community with a bounty of places to stay, eat, drink and play…but there is more to this story. Located at the end of “The Hamptons”, Montauk prides itself on being the Un-Hampton. Montauk is made up of a community historically of both fishermen, artists and celebs alike who enjoy a little anonymity and all share a love of the natural beauty, charm and vibrant energy that only a place completely surrounded by water and beaches could have.
Most importantly though, Montauk is a childhood dream come true!
